Liporase is a medication containing hyaluronidase, primarily used to dissolve improperly applied or excessive amounts of hyaluronic acid (HA) subcutaneous fillers, acting as a "reversal agent." It helps correct uneven filling, lumps, over-injection, and even handles emergencies caused by accidental injection of fillers into blood vessels, leading to blood flow obstruction. Additionally, it can be mixed with lipolysis injections to enhance effects or improve the diffusion of local anesthetics. It can easily dissolve hyaluronic acid by speeding up the rate at which it is absorbed by the body. It is essential to note that Liporase only targets synthetic hyaluronic acid, wherein it swiftly reverses the effects of the dermal filler without damaging the body’s natural hyaluronic acid.

KEY INGREDIENTS Liporase consists of 1500IU of hyaluronidase and 13.3mg of lactose hydrate.

Usage and Precautions:

Usually diluted with physiological saline before injection, and can be mixed with lidocaine, etc.

An allergy test is required before injection. Individuals allergic to bee stings may also be allergic to hyaluronidase.

Contraindications include infection, inflammation, tumors, pregnancy, lactation, and coagulation disorders.

Local reactions such as redness, swelling, and itching may occur after injection.

It cannot be used to dissolve non-hyaluronic acid fillers (such as collagen, silicone, and calcium hydroxyapatite).

Main Uses:

Dissolving Hyaluronic Acid Fillers: Reversing the effects of HA fillers, treating adverse reactions such as lumps, foreign body sensation, and vascular obstruction.

Enhancing Lipolysis Effects: When mixed with lipolysis injections, it accelerates fat breakdown.

Promoting Anesthetic Diffusion: Increases the penetration of local anesthetics.

Working Mechanism:

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that hydrolyzes hyaluronic acid, breaking down the filler into components that can be safely absorbed by the body, such as glucuronic acid and glucosamine.
