Radiesse isan FDA-approved injectable dermal fillerknown for providing immediate volume and lift while stimulating the body's natural collagen and elastin production, using calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in a gel carrier to smooth wrinkles (like nasolabial folds, marionette lines) and contour the face, with results lasting a year or more, offering a dual-action approach to skin rejuvenation for deeper lines, volume loss, and even skin quality improvement in areas like the hands, neck, and décolletage.

  • Immediate Volume: The gel carrier provides instant plumping for wrinkles and folds.

  • Collagen Stimulation: The calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres act as a scaffold, prompting your body to produce new collagen and elastin over time, enhancing skin thickness and firmness.

  • Facial Contouring: Cheeks, jawline, chin, nose.

  • Wrinkle Correction: Nasolabial folds, marionette lines, smile lines.

  • Skin Laxity: Improves skin quality on the neck, décolletage (chest), and hands.

You may experience some pain, swelling and bruising around the injection site for a few days after your treatment. These will heal in the same way as a normal bruise or minor injury — they will fade steadily over the course of your first week post-treatment. Some clients experience a lumpiness in the treated area, which is often a complication of an inexperienced provider or the use of Radiesse in an area of the face where it is not a well-suited treatment. The lumps will fade as the Radiesse settles, but you can best avoid this by choosing a board-certified dermatologist as your Radiesse provider.
